Macaroni & Cheese

Mac & Cheese is that comfort food that almost no one can resist. This year, I made the macaroni and cheese from scratch using a roux to melt the cheese into milk. I slowly stirred the mixture until it was nice and cheese-y and ready to add to warm macaroni noodles for a short bake in the oven. After sprinkling a little paprika on top, this dish looked even more appetizing. This small bowl was the perfect dish to photograph as it reminds me of fall with its brown wheat illustrations. The black, plaid sweater underneath offered a cozy texture perfect for the sentiment of warm comfort food in cold weather. And yes, it tastes as good as it looks!
