Toronto & Caribana

Caribana is a 2-week long celebration of Caribbean heritage and culture that takes place in the middle of summer in Toronto. My friends and I visited last year, to celebrate and join in on the festivities of this wonderful carnival. Between the parties, the parade, and the sightseeing, I was able to snap a few pictures of the cityscape and the celebration around us.

We explored the city on foot, by tour bus, and by car as well as by boat to see the Toronto Harbour and the Toronto Islands. We had the luxury of staying in a beautiful Airbnb next to St. Lawrence Market in a very walkable area of Toronto. At the parade, we saw the most colorful costumes and vibrant people representing the Caribbean spirit and culture.

Toronto is a wonderful place to visit to whet your appetite for international travel, participate in multi-cultural activities, and fellowship with those who also share your zeal for life and travel.
